New Yorkers! If you don't have plans tonight, you should totally head over to indie game arcade Babycastles in Manhattan (217 E. 42nd St) to listen to live music and play a bunch of titles from Experimental Gameplay Project's "Neverending Games" competition, all for free!
Starting at 7PM tonight, five winners/runner-ups from the Neverending Games theme will be available to play -- Mocke's Pilot Crash Course, Luke O'Conner's Clock, Gametron's Asterodyssey, and Teijo Murso's NEND -- as well as Krimelo's Auto Cannibalism from EGP's "Repeat" theme in April.
And around 9PM, several musicians/performers -- Fat Tony & Tom Cruz, Ava Luna, and Blue Leader -- will entertain the crowd. The event starts in a couple hours, but if you want to RSVP or just find more information, you can check out this Facebook event page.
The games will be available to play every day and evening at Babycastles until Halloween weekend. You can also download them to play them at home (which isn't as fun or social) and check out all the other Neverending Games at EGP's site.
