Finally it's been revealed -- SNK Playmore have announced that a bunch of Neo Geo games will be coming to the PlayStation Network -- but there's more to it than we initially believed.
Fatal Fury, Alpha Mission II, King Of Fighters '94, Samurai Shodown, Baseball Stars Professional, Magicial Lord, Metal Slug 1, League Bowling, Super Sidekicks and Art Of Fighting will all be available on the 21st for PS3, as well as PSP versions of Metal Slug and Fatal Fury -- the rest will be released in early 2011.
What's new is that all of them will support online play on PS3, and support Ad-hoc play on PSP. Each PS3 version will sell for $8.99 per title while each PSP version will cost $6.99.
This is fantastic news and it's amazing that it took this long, and the fact that it's got online play is crazy in itself. From the looks of the list we won't see anything from XBLA pop up on PSN anytime soon, so don't expect KOF '98 for a while.
